The Department of Biomedical Science and Engineering (BMSE) at World University of Bangladesh is committed to advancing public health education through its flagship Master of Public Health (MPH) program. The Master of Public Health (MPH) program at World University of Bangladesh (WUB) is designed for passionate individuals committed to improving health outcomes and transforming lives locally and globally. Our revolutionary model of public health education combines rigorous academic training with real-world application, empowering students to investigate pressing health challenges and develop impactful, evidence-based solutions.
As a school-wide degree program, the MPH curriculum prepares future public health leaders to address complex global health issues through multidisciplinary approaches The program offers flexible learning options, including online and onsite formats, to accommodate diverse student needs. It culminates in a capstone project that allows students to apply their acquired competencies to real public health problems aligned with their professional goals.
The student may have the option to choose multiple specializations based on the courses chosen. The eight (8) Major Divisions for specialization are given below:

The University follows the American System of Evaluation and Assessment prevalent in most North American universities and considers exemptions for prior credits earned by candidates.

The duration of the program is one and a half academic years with a maximum of three (3) years for completion of the program.
HSC/A-Level (Science), GPA 2.50 minimum. Combined GPA 6.00 required if one exam is below 2.50.
A non-refundable registration fee of USD 30 is required.

This programme is offered through a formal academic partnership between DARA Institute and World University of Bangladesh (WUB). DARA Institute facilitates the application process and provides admission support. The University is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), London, Association of Private Universities in Bangladesh and Quality Assurance & Improvement Council and appears in the worldwide listing of universities by the UNESCO. Moreover, we have a number of agreements with renowned universities for exchange programs. The students, thus, have wide scope of credit transfer and higher education in abroad.
